Anaheim Electronics's plan to improve Gundam by equipping it with removable chobam armor to increase its protection results in this bulky upgrade of the suit and the kit! Gundam's shield was also replaced by a larger shield with built-in thrusters, to counter the Heavy Weapon System's increased mass. The additional heavy beam rifle also increased the firepower of Gundam. All of this is of course included in the kit, along with the Hyper Mega Rifle, shoulder missile launchers, beam rifle, beam saber, and new Hyper Bazooka. The joint parts are cast in a unique glossy finish, and polycaps allow for great poseability.
